This species has been sampled from carapace surface of hawksbill sea turtles nesting in Persian Gulf associated with filamentous algae. Photo has been taken under Stereo microscope by 25 X magnification.
In my opinion this species might be a Cnidarian species. What do you think?
If I'm to classify this as a sea anemone, of the Order Actiniaria, then it surely looks like a species of Diadumene, and this has been documented from the carapace of loggerhead turtles.
BUT, in all honesty the specimen in the picture looks more like a tube anemone, belonging to the Order Ceriantharia.

these looked like gonad tubules to me.. a higher resolution or more closer or zoomed in photograph of the same should be nice
Yes, the picture of the oral disc would be a lot of help. By the way, apart from the earlier suggestions, could it be a Boloceroides, swimming anemone. Because while checking about the Actiniaria species, it caught my eyes and a swimming anemone could easily lodge itself onto the carapace of the sea turtle.
