probably check version of the software to match the manual, I can help with Linux or MacOS, with windows I have not used it before Windows 7, last was winXP.

Then check forums for Windows 10, could be a specific OS issue, have not used Windows since WinXP before Win7 so cannot help sorry. Good Luck.
