I have a NLSTAT analysis done in Nastran. Now I am trying to understand the results compared to linear static results.
In linear static analysis the max VonMises is 991MPA and in NLSTAT it is only 470MPA. Does it mean that the material will enter into plasticity after 470 MPA?

Yes, it is. The material is going to yield as soon as the Von-Mises equation's will be satisfied.

My materials Yield strength is 350MPa, but the result stress is 470. Does it mean that remaining 120 MPa is stress after entering plasticity?

In fact, there are different kinds of phenomena in plasticity such as perfect plasticity, elasto-plastic hardener plasticity, etc. Von-Mises equation determines the material is going to yield or is not based on the stress state resulting from previous set-up conditions. So, as soon as the stress state satisfies the Von-Mises equation material becomes yielding and it is probably that your mathematical model tries to fit plastic-hardener plasticity. After that, the remaining amount you refer to indicates that the material not only has become yielding, but also deformation has gone further and one needs to increase the load in order to getting mayor values of deformation.
