As due to lot of development in field of medical sciences and research technology the life expectancy has increased tremendously perse the quality life in aged/ elderly population has been a cause of concern due to geriatric health problems like heart, respiratory, arthritis,eye, hearing problems along with lonliness which need attention towards this increasing population. Although govt.has recently opened clinics for this population but what really is required is empathy from every segment because there has been a gap due to extinction of joint family structure.
