Podsakoff et al. (2003), has explained about the use of common method bias (CMB) test. CMB is the spurious variance that is attributable to the measurement method rather than to the constructs the measures are assumed to represent.

Despite its importance, I find only a very few research papers employing the CMB test. It makes me think whether should I write about the CMB test in my research paper or not. What's your views regarding this test?
