Can anybody tell me the plastic behavior of Ti6Al4V alloy at room temperature? The strain rate is not high, I just need it to do some indentation simulations, as shown in the attachment.
At room temperature Ti6Al4V is a strong (hard) but ductile material.
Until its failure strain it behaves ductile. This material is prone to adiabatic shear banding (localization of strain in a plane), but only at high strain rates and shear loading.
