Hello sir. I had come across the regieme of minimal intervention through Laser Dental procedures. People here are performing these procedures. I believe there must be alot of online literature exist on these lines.

you should try (for dentistry in Children) the Scottish Dental Clinical Effectiveness Programmes manual (although it is currently being updated, it is still contemporaneous). This document has been adopted for use in several other countries and is meant to be international in its scope although produced by a Scottish Group. It is very much about 'how to' do minimal intervention dentistry.

There is VERY little evidence for lasers and ozone both of which are expensive and, from the research would seem to be unnecessary.  I would urge caution in adopting these when simpler, proven, effective methods are available.

With very young children, it could make sense to excavate without drilling, using a hand excavator only. This method has been used in areas with no access to elictricity, but has for many years been studied in Europe and the USA also. This will not get the cavity entirely caries free, but with glass ionomer cement or fluoride-containing plastic fillings the restoration will last for a long time and the child will not be traumatized. There is an extensive collection of literature on this here

Most answers do not really focus on this part of the question. 

Muthu already pointed to the DMG product ICON (= infiltration concept) which is infiltrating an early lesion with a low viscous monomer. There are several clinical studies around already. Look for the authors "Meyer-Lückel" and "Paris" on Pubmed. 

There is another alternative: Curodont Repair from Credentis. 

It is a self-assembling peptide which is infiltrated into the lesion as a mono peptide. Due to the low pH in a caries lesion the mono peptide assembles to a three dimensional network. After the self-assembly the peptide has locations with a high affinity to Ca2+. They attract calcium ions from saliva and should increase the remineralisation rate of the lesion to much higher levels then normal remineralization will do.

The science behind can be retrieved on Pubmed with the author names "Kirkham" and "Aggeli".

The question itself is formulated ambiguously. It could also mean excavation of dentin caries without using a drill (it might be however necessary to use a drill for the access cavity and the final shape of the cavity before restoration). There are a number of treatment options available, too, like for example:

Carisolv (sodium hypochlorite), Papacaire (proteolytic enzyme -> look for the papers of the group around "Bussadori") or other proteases (see for example "Biosolve" -> search the IADR abstracts for it).

i think you need chemical removal of caries,which is a conservative approach for caries removal and MID technique .I fully agree Karl-Heinz.

HI,   there is a system  using  enzymes of   papaya,   the technique,   briefly, is  to   place the  material  in the cavity  and  the   enzymes    dissolve or  destroy  all the  infected  dentin,    it  does  not  require  ansthesia,   and does not  affect   healthy  dentin.   In  a few minutes  you can   wash  the cavity and  start  procedures  for   restoration,  place   protective  layers  of  base material,  or  adhesives, etc, depending on the deep of the cavity.   It is sold in Mexico,   and recently  I  knew  that in Argentina they are  trading  a similar material, also based on papaya  enzymes.    In Mexico, the commercial name is Papacarie,.   

i do agree with Nicola.  can try with chemomechnical caries removal agents.

There are - in a short form - some new ways to treat caries with minimal intervention:

- you may not treat caries at the first minimal diagnosis, but you have to watch it. It can be stopped with prophylactis methods. In many cases the surface of the tooth (approximal) is not disturbed even if the x-ray shows slight change in radio-opacity of dentin.

- you can seal primary caries to stop it.

- extension for prevention is out - prevention inspite of extension!

- you have not to move out the whole weak and discoloured dentin. To do this well, there are severeal methods like colouring the weak dentin,  special burs or an indicating light.

- you have to close the cavity with a dentin-adhesive filling system in order to separate the residual bacteria from nutrition.

- you may not open this cavity for a second time in order to pull out the rest of the altered dentin.  Even the weak dentin will become more tighten. It did not improve the results, if a tooth was revised.

- this methods only make sense, if the "quality of pain" tells us, that the tooth has no irreversible pulpitis, or better the tooth made no anamnestic pain.

-this methods are proved with several studies, this methods lead to a decrease of postoperative troubles, less openings of the pulp cavity and finally to a longer life of the concerned teeth.

I agree with Quintero, papacarie is a natural chemistry process approach to clean infected tooth without damaging the healthy part of the tooth. That paste is already on the market and it is accessible. The filling part (from biological perspective) is probably Re-Dent medicine invented by Paul Sharpe. Currently they are looking for manufacturer of this technology. It is chemical stimulant for tooth to start regenerating itself to fill up the dentin. It does not restore enamel however. For worst cases, say a missing tooth, Dr. Rosowski from TU of Berlin in Germany came up with technology to grow a complete tooth from scratch just like a child after loosing a milk tooth. I believe its direct approach is far more safer for patient than Japanese technology which involve patient taking a pill.
