I study climate changes of the Holocene using lacustrine sediments, now I prepare 16 pollen samples in 3 days (I work 8 hours a day) using this protocol (please see attached File):

1) KOH %10: 20 minutes in water bath (~ 3 times)

2) Rinse: (~5 times)

3) Sieve 160 micron

4) Sieve 7 micron

5) HCl %10: 20 minutes in water bath

6) HF %47: 30 minutes in water bath

7) HCl %10: 3 minutes in water bath

Acetolysis:

8) Acetic acid glacial: (twice)

9) 9:1 Acetic Anhydride: Acid Sulfuric: (2 minutes in water bath)

10) Acetic acid glacial

11) Rinse: (twice)

Dehydration:

12) Ethanol %95

13) Ethanol %100

14) Tert butyl Alcohol (TBA).

15) Mounting in Silicon oil.

Could you please present a method for preparing samples faster than this?
