I am doing some research projects on evaluating agricultural extension education and some of them are being done in qualitative paradigm and looking for some suitable software for those. Peyman
Thank you Dear laurens. I also would like to thank you because of your very attractive topics and contents of your researches and articles. I am one of your followers.
Various versions of this question have been asked several times on ResearchGate, and I hope I speak for the majority of posters when I say that the consensus is that there are only minimal substantive differences among ATLAS.ti, MAX QDA, and NVivo. So, unless you have a specific set of advanced features that you need, it is almost certain that any of them will meet your needs.
For all practical purposes, the differences are largely at the level of "look and feel" -- i.e., how well you like any particular user interface. You can download free trial versions of all these programs, so I suggest you try out the ones that are most interesting to you.
You might also consider Dedoose which is a web-based program where you rent access by the month, rather than purchasing it.
After greetings and thanks a lot. I got the picture and I also had a look to your profile and your debates with other scientists was very useful for me.
Hi Peyman Falsafi, I use Genstat http://www.google.com/url?q=http://www.vsni.co.uk/software/genstat/&sa=U&ei=IKGSVMS4IYLgyQPX5IKADw&ved=0CAsQFjAA&sig2=BxNI8s7s_E1OmecLC-O3VQ&usg=AFQjCNEZc0jjChrg4crG_MS8vW_AXzM3YQ
Thank you for your contribution. I had a look to site which has introduced by you. But I think The software that you used is an appropriate software for quantitative data analyses. I couldn't find any relative point regarding qualitative research methodology and analyses.
