Image 2 contains three herbaceous species. The dominant plant in the image is Corchorus trilocularis L. In center there is single plant of Phyllanthus niruri L. and in left side there is a plant of Acalypha indica L.
Corchorus trilocularis is a annual herb belonging to family Malvaceae. In Hindi it known as Kadwapat and in Sanskrit as Chanchu. It is medicinally important plant possessing anti-inflammatory activity. Seeds are used in fever. The plant also possess anti-diabetic activity.
Phyllanthus niruri is also a annual herb belonging to family Phyllanthaceae. In Hindi it is known as Bhui aonla. It is a plant of immense medicinal importance and is used against liver and stomach disorders.
Acalypha indica is a annual herb belonging to family Euphorbiaceae. In Hindi it known as kuppi. The plant possess medicinal properties and is useful in treatment of bronchitis, asthma, pneumonia and rheumatism.
Image 3 is of plant Flueggea leucopyrus Willd. which is a shrub by habit and belongs to family Phyllanthaceae. In Hindi the plant is known as Ainta. It is medicinally important plant species possessing anti-oxidant and anti-proliferative properties. In Sri Lanka the leaves of plant are used in treatment of cancer in traditional system of disease treatment.
