Dear all,
What is the mixing energy in (watt/volume of slurry) in order to keep a slurry stored in a tank in suspension? I assume that this mixing energy depends on the % of dry solids in the slurry since it affects the coefficient of rigidity. Does it depend on other parameters? If yes, is it possible to provide me with data or direct me to references that contain such data that show how this mixing energy changes as other parameters change? I have a typical value for mixing energy but it is in (watt/cubic meter of sludge) and I do not know if I can use that for a slurry since slurry has a higher wt% of water content and I do not know how this would affect the mixing energy? What would be a typical efficiency value for an external slurry mixing pump? Any help would be appreciated.
Best,
