Plant body thin dorsiventral thallus, light green, apical notch sunken, rhizoids smooth walled type only, vegetative cell full of numerous starch grain, air space present, vein like marking present all over the thallus. Is it bryophyte member or prothallus of fern?

This is genus Cyathodium of Marchantiales.Yes, it is a thalloid liverwort.if you mail me the spores of the plant which you have collected,I would be able to identify the species for you.Since there is no record of the bryophytes that occur in Tripura it would be difficult otherwise .
Cyathodium cavernarum Kunze has been known to occur in North-east India including Tripura.
The species belongs to thalloid liverwort. Please check genus Cyathodium for species level conformation.
