I have been working with ants and ground beetle samples, according to agricultural management, thus I would like to know if there is any form to calculate with a xx% of confidence that a community from a given agroecosystem will be composed of a,b,c, species, based on data obtained from field. I know that there are forms to calculate indicator species, and some clusterings (such NMDS, CCA, PCA, etc). I would be pretty thankful if someone could give me some light on this topic.

The guiding principle is specific area of studied indicated, procedure for counts of community species (families) then once all species counts have been done, calculate as X as out of total N (numbers) x 100%. Try to have control of the community members movement to the minimum, to get close to the "correct number" to be used for the % calculation.
I was thinking in some bayesian analysis, but I was not so sure about it's applications, It sounds pretty interesting!
