In recent years we have seen a cooling in the Sahara, North America, Europe. Some kind of ambivalent feeling: global warming in the press and real cooling in reality
There is a clear increasing trend of the concentration of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere in particular since the 50s of the 20th century, see for instance recent IPCC reports. This trend does not automatically translate into an increasing temperature in each region and in each season in each year. However, the globally averaged temperature shows an increasing trend over the years (climatic time frame of e.g. 30 years). Obviously, there are inter-annual variations resulting in more or less than average warming or cooling in specific regions in specific years. Do you have some references to scientific papers showing this cooling in for instance Europe in the past 5-10 years? Will be interesting.
