For example I cannot publish my articles about sun related temperature trends in Japan,in megasities. Notes in newspapers- "Climate trends in the New York city" also rejected, with the words about consensus.....
I am sure it is a disadvantage because it is almost not payed attention
to the significant changes in Sun activity, changes of interstellar gas and dust absorption when Earth is moving around the Galaxy centre. And it is
little influence of humankind to the climate changes on Earth.
In my opinion, the global warming though exist to some extent but now so much as it is highlighted. It is disadvantage to the third world countries that are interested to establish their industrial zone.
We all know about the last consensus in the time of Copernicus.
That was the prevailing consensus 500 years ago, that the Earth was the center of the universe. Actually consensus leads to stagnation,as we can see in development of Soviet Union,Cuba.
