It's very hard for me to find out the reference paper for histology study in caridean shrimp of deep sea shrimp. I couldn't find out even one. Can anybody kindly help out in this.It will be very helpful for my studies.
The review series Microscopic Anatomy of Invertebrates is excellent, though not up-to-date. HOwever, the information will still be sound. Volume 10 Decapod Crustacea eds Harrison and Humes should be a very good starting point for you. The series is edited by F W Harrison and A J Kohn and is published by Wiley Liss. I do not have the particular volume myself. I hope you can obtain it.
Your best bet would be to look at Bell and Lightner's Handbook of normal penaeid shrimp histology. http://www.amazon.com/Handbook-Normal-Penaeid-Shrimp-Histology/dp/0935868372. The Microscopic Anatomy is an excellent text, but it has a lot of TEMs and may be difficult to orient on for someone starting in the field.
