I need an advice about a suitable load cell to capture an impact force from a drop weight on reinforced concrete members. The maximum drop weight is 100 kg, while the maximum drop height is 2.5 m. The required actual recoding rate is 10000 samples per second. Both precision and cost are important. It would be helpful if someone can provide details about the suitable product and provider.

Three years ago I have used some Geokon vibrating wire strain gauges in some experimental setup. It is a good company that provides confident sensors and scientific solutions. However, I don't think that the 3500-Earth Pressure Cell is suitable for the required test setup, which is the drop weight impact loading.
