This tree species is located at Kizimbani Reserach station in Zanzibar - Tanzania. The scientific name, history and origin of the species is still unknown to us. Can any help us in identifying what fruit is this and from what species of tree?

Picture quality is poor, and you have not posted the pictures of tree and flowers. Moreover, you have not mentioned about the size of fruits and leaves. I think these information are necessary for correct identification of this tree.
I am in full agreement with Dr. Arvind,, The pictures are not enough to identify the species of the tree. It be needed more pictures for flowers, seeds, leaves and whole plants.
