I spent much time in searching the online documents to figure out if Abaqus can model the thermal effects on moisture flow under unsaturated conditions. Unfortunately, there is no relevant example or tutorials. In addition, there is a report concluded that Abaqus did not perform satisfactorily for modeling thermal effects on moisture flow under unsaturated conditions. The report was published in 1995, so I'm wondering if any progress has been made after 1995? Or, I missed the relevant information in the online Abaqus documents.

Please help me with my concern, and I'm really interested to work it out.

Let me make it more clear. When concrete is unsaturated (degree of water saturation is between 0 and 100%), and is exposed to heating, to say, at 80C. The thermal effect will cause pore pressure increase and evaporation of water. Hence, the fluid flow is very complicated. In addition, the thermal also causes the expansion of concrete.
