Hi all,

I am designing a curve stacked dipole antenna with following specifications.

Frequency of operation: L band

Azimuth: Omni-directional

Elevation: 6 to 70 degrees

Polarization: Horizontal

I was wondering is there is a way if an antenna with similar specs but vertical polarization be used as horizontally polarized antenna upon rotation or any other means?

As per my understanding, if I rotate a vertically polarized antenna by 90 degrees, the stacked dipoles (vertical in case of a vertically polarized antenna) would now be horizontal. However, upon rotation, the results in azimuth and elevation planes should disturb.
