Aggressive manoeuvres performed by quadrotor in the lab are generally done by motion capture camera. Can these manoeuvres be done without a motion camera under open atmosphere?

No, if do have two gyroscopes, one on the copter and the other one in the gimbal aunated you just set the angle and with fast brushless motors you can be as aggresive as you want
