We are pleased to announce an opportunity for SME companies to join the SmartGridHeat project consortium for the Eurostars call for projects SEP 2024. The SmartGridHeat project aims to develop smart coupled control strategies to optimize the interaction between the electricity grid and district heating systems.

Project Overview:

The SmartGridHeat project adopts a comprehensive methodological approach, focusing on the development of mathematical models and simulation environments. These models accurately replicate the dynamic behaviour of energy systems, facilitating the evaluation of different operational strategies and control mechanisms to maximize system performance. A key aspect of the project is the real-world pilot demonstration to be conducted at the Maarif Hotel in the municipality of Havza located in the city of Samsun, Türkiye. This demonstration will showcase the application of smart coupled control strategies in optimizing energy usage and system operation.

Opportunity for New Partners:

We are looking to add new SME companies to our consortium. Due to the requirements specified by the Eureka programme for this Eurostars call, new partners must be SMEs. We can welcome a maximum of 2 SME companies from Eurostars countries other than Türkiye and Denmark.
