I am a retired mathematics educator with similar interests (See math-ed.com). A few years ago, I visited Nepal as a Fulbright Specialist in the KU College of Education. For me, this was a professionally and personally rewarding experience. I retain a deep interest in and appreciation for the Nepalese people and their culture.

I have informally studied Bayesian statistical methods and believe that in mathematics education research, Bayesian approaches offer new and promising alternatives to traditional frequentist approaches. Here is a link to a recent paper demonstrating this focus:
