I would like to study the effects of land use and climate changes on runoff of a catchment. For this I want to use the L-THIA model. Is this model capable of calibration for my study area?
What is the size of your catchment, because the model has its areal range?. Again, most of the runoff models in use are regional empirical models with their regional constants which vary widely depending on the land use and regional climatic and hydrological conditions.
However, it is still possible to calibrate it for your catchment if you have generated your constants. You can also look for some published work from Ogarekpe, N.M on models parameters calibration approach.
