we could calculate FWHM easily by fitting non linear curve, such as Gaussian and then Origin give us W and FWHM at result book.
but it has not a method to calculate HWHM.
for FWHA i found manually method:
1. fitting Gaussian curve
2. integrate area from center of peak to infinity
3. find x-value at 50% of integrated area
4. FWHA=2*(step3 x-value minus x-value at center)
please suggest method to automatically calculate FWHA and a mathod for HWHM.

Once you fit a Gaussian, you will have its mean (mu) and SD (sigma). You practically only need sigma to calculate what you want.
FWHM (full width at half max)= 2 * sigma * Sqrt[2 * Ln[2] ]

HWHM must mean half width at half max, so it is half of the above.
FWHA most likely means full width at half area. By consulting a normal distribution table you can find that it is approximately 1.35 * sigma, since
