Climate change is perhaps one of the major challenges facing the world today. Over the years, rainfall and temperature patterns have been used to measure climate change among other parameters.
Which one (either rainfall or temperature) patterns is a good measure of climate change? In other words, if one was to choose one as the indicator for climate change, which one would be the best?

When you talk climate change, you must also mention Global Warming. Climate Change and Global Warming, which is defined as the increase of the average temperature on earth are closely related. Therefore I agree with my colleagues that temperature is the most important parameter.

Rainfall as an indicator of climate change is associated with the occurrence of extreme events (floods and droughts). I would agree that temperature as a measure of global warming would be an ideal parameter
