Climate change is perhaps one of the major challenges facing the world today. Over the years, rainfall and temperature patterns have been used to measure climate change among other parameters. 

Which one (either rainfall or temperature) patterns is a good measure of climate change? In other words, if one was to choose one as the indicator for climate change, which one would be the best?
