Someone please suggest me the best SPE cartridges for the extraction of OCPs and pharmaceuticals (ibuprofen, amoxicillin, erythromycin, ofloxcin) in river water. It will be very helpful if anybody provide step by step extraction process of SPE along with important points should be consider during the extraction process.
I assume, that you know which HPLC protocol you intend to use.
The first choice is, that the SPE cartridge is of the same chemistry as the column's, and it should be equilibrated with the HPLC first eluent. This ensures that sample-constituents which may irreversibly adhere to the column will remain on the SPE
