Please, according to your experiences, what is the best method for dosing flavonoids in plant extracts. for me, I used the known method of AlCl3 ... but sometimes it presents bizzare results. in some of my essays, some of my colleagues' essays and according to some articles, the flavoinoides content according to this method seems superior to that of total phenolic compounds !! what is explained in literary by the low specificity of reagent that can interfere with other compounds such as proteins ...So, I need a more specific protocol well tried.
