Are there any biochemistry textbooks containing many illustrations/photos (visual learning)? Any recommendations on good biochemistry textbooks would be appreciated! I have taken third/fourth-year courses in microbiology and have a foundation in general chemistry.
I am a fashion designer and textile researcher seeking to learn more about biochemistry for my biomaterials research. I would like to learn more in-depth about concepts such as: metabolic pathways & metabolism, carbohydrates, enzymes & co-enzymes, DNA/RNA, etc.

when i was student (unfortunatelly more than 10 years ago) the most of people liked the Styer https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Biochemistry_(Stryer)
however personally at that time i liked more the Voet (https://www.amazon.it/Biochemistry-Donald-Voet/dp/0470917458) whixh in my opinion whose more simple and contains simpler illustractions.
However many years are passed and new version were released. i suggest to you to go in a universitary library and spend some our to check and compare both to find out which you like more.
