Acetobacter aceti is among others an industrial producer of vinegar.

Hello, Acetic acid bacteria can exist in vinegar if acetic acid content in vinegar less than 5%.

Bacteria for vinegar production are also divided according to substrate for vinegare production as followas:

i) so called "beer bacteria": Acetobacter aceti, Acetobacter pasteurianum, Acetobacter kützingianum, Acetobacter acetosum, Acetobacter rancens

ii) production of vinegar from wine: Acetobacter orleanensis, Acetobacetr vini acetati, Acetobacter xylinoides, Acetobacter xylinum, Acetobacter ascendens, Acetobacter vini

iii) production of vinegar from ethanol: Acetobacter schützenbachii, Acetobacter acetigenum, Acetobacter curvum

iv) production of vihegar from wort: Acetobacter Acetobacter industrium, Acetobater suboxydans, Acetobacter mezoxydans, Acetobacter kefir
