In general it’s very interesting to work with azids in a micro reactor system. I have many very good experiences with azids in different synthesis as reagents under micro flow conditions. So it is possible to test new synthesis routes with azids under micro flow conditions, which would not be possible under batch reactor conditions, because there are too fast and to exothermic. But under micro flow it’s no problem and it’s possible to improve yields and purity significantly.
