Recently, I was searching for some translated questionnaires in Arabic to be used in research, I couldn't find anyone available, even at the end of the papers that were built on the translation and cultural adaptation purposes.
I was wondering why authors do not share those questionnaires in public, so I am not have to contact each author and ask them to provide the questionnaire in private?
Questionnaires are part of a creative process and in most cases are subject to copyright. I think that many authors do not want that their research is copied and therefore do not put their questionnaires online. However, I think that when the research is published, the used questionnaire should be part of the publication. I recommend to search for questionnaires in publications related to your field of research.
Thanks Dr. Dick for the feedback. I meant specifically the translated questionnaires which is not own intellectual property of the authors who made the translation and cultural adaptation.
