Dear All,

many times by reviewing applicants CVs I am reading their scientific activity, however I am not sure about one information. I am asking about the special information in applicants CVs = Authors total IF sum over his scientific carrier. How is counted total IF sum for author XX?

Example: Author XX has published 3 articles as a first author in 3 journals with diff. IFs (e.g. 2, 1, 3). However, he (XX) has been mentioned as a co-author in the papers from YY/ZZ/MM author/s in e.g. 3 other journals with dif. IFs. (e.g. 2, 4, 6)

The total IF sum for XX author is? ....... does he received always full IF value of journal as a 1st author as well as only co-author? Or as co-author receive he just 50%, 25% of journals IF value? How their counts the total sum of theirs IF over carrier?

Thank you for any reply!

Best regards.
