We are conducting a study of the mercury load in Amazonian fish species forming part of the people there. We currently only have pictures of, and the local names for, these six fish from the Napo River - a river that runs through the Amazon basin of the Province of Maynas, Department of Loreto, Peru. The six pictures, each photo file named after the fish it is a picture of, is in the DropBox link provided with this question.

Additionally, the following are the fish names given to the fish by the local people in the order that the fish pictures present in the DropBox link above: 1. Bujurqui 2. Carachama 3. Fasaco 4. Doncella, a type of Zungaro; where, Zungaro is an umbrella-term more commonly known as a type of Cat Fish 5. Palometa 6. Ratacara If anyone could help us identify the genus and species for these fish, that would be most greatly appreciated!"

Thanks in advance, Erick Carreras, John Neilson and the rest of the research team.
