Many recent publications are available on shunt active filters. Can anyone tell me where they are practically implemented ? Any reference papers on industrial implementation of SAPF?
There are some installations in DC and AC electric arc furnace (EAF) industries. You may search google for finding a specific EAF with shunt active or hybrid filters installed. I can provide you measurements of the harmonics in an AC arc furnace for designing sufficient filtering.
