There are many excellent tools to predict protein properties that are only dependent on the sequence of a protein, such as protein molecular weight or protein pI (examples would be the pi_tool on uniprot or tools in the python pyteomics library (https://pyteomics.readthedocs.io/en/latest/).
Does anybody know of a tool that would calculate the buffering capacity of a concentrated protein or even peptide solution (in the absence of any externally added buffer salts)? I would even be interested in answers that would explain how this could be calculated.
