In Polynesia there is a clear pattern of replacement of native land snail faunas by alien species (Christensen & Kirch, 1986, Bishop Museum Occasional Papers 26:52-80; Cowie, 2001, Biological Conservation 99:207-222-both available on ResearchNet), but it is probably less a story of competitive displacement than it is a case where the native fauna has been driven to extinction by habitat destruction and other human-caused changes and aliens subsequently take over the defaunated landscape.  A Hawaiian example that might fit your criteria is the case of the native Hawaiian Duck, a poorly differentiated local offshoot of the ubiquitous Mallard.  As discussed in the draft Recovery Plan for Hawaiian Waterbirds (http://www.fws.gov/pacific/ecoservices/endangered/recovery/documents/HawaiianWaterbirdsDraftRevRecoveryPlan5-05.pdf), feral Mallards are interbreeding with the endemic species and the resulting hybrids may be displacing the native form.  

Thanks, it is useful, but not exactly what I need. In my case there are small insular island-like relic habitats with rare threatened snails. In some of these island-like habitats an invasive snail (not related to native ones, from other family) lives in mass and native rare snails are locally extinct here. There is no habitat destruction, these plots are protected, so it looks like invasive snail extrude native ones in some way. Invasive snail eats leaches and plants, so unlikely that there is some predating. But density of these snails is huge, much more that of native ones in similar habitats. There is same problem that noted in Cowie (2001: 219): "The land snail fauna ... is becoming dominated by introduced species.... Whether these species are competing with native species for food recourses, space, or anything else it is unknown." I need well-grounded examples of such competing.

the introduction of the red crawfish on low Guadalquivir, in 1972, caused the disappearance of several species of macroinvertebrates, as two species of molluscs of the genus Limnea. The most likely hypothesis is that the modified crab habitat freshwater marshes of Doñana National Park, because its activity has cut macrophyte meadows and allowed the balance system of clear water becomes turbid water balance . Shellfish feed on the periphyton of reduced macrophyte abundance, or virtually eliminated.

Where you refer to predation, I imagine you're thinking of typical predator-prey interactions, but often we find that species with similar functional niches engage in intraguild predation, which can sometimes explain displacements eg:

Dick, Jaimie, and Dirk Platvoet. "Intraguild predation and species exclusions in amphipods: the interaction of behaviour, physiology and environment." Freshwater Biology 36.2 (1996): 375-383.

Displacement can sometimes also be mediated by competitive exclusion from refugia, leading to differential predation, eg:

The aforementioned example of grey vs red squirrels is largely thought to be a disease-mediated displacement (in the UK at least), i.e. 'novel biological weapons'  eg:

There must be a range of other displacement mechanisms which have been well documented in the literature, and probably many that have not.

In Switzerland, the three native crayfish species are being displaced by introduced American and East European crayfish species. I think the same is happening in other West European countries. Introduced species are believed to carry some form of crayfish plague that contributes to native species decline.

It's more snails but at least a marine example: Competitive replacement of the native mudsnail, Cerithidea californica, by the invasive Batillaria attramentaria.  This might fit your small, isolated habitat needs since some work has been done looking at marsh-by-marsh basis of local extinction and I believe both species are direct developers - leading to isolation. There is extensive literature for introduced freshwater fish species, though predation may be part of the problem, there is also aggressive behaviour and more effective use of food sources. Some examples below:

I can give you some examples, but haven't right on the hand the references. Petricola pholadiformis, a bivalve from North America,  has displaced in Belgium the European common piddock Pholas dactylus. Both live inside burrows on relative hard substrata and are filterfeeders. Try also to find some information on Corbicula fluminea and the cebra mussel in England. They are true invaders, fresh water bivalves, and surely may have displaced other freshwater molluscs.

As Alexandra says, invasive bivalves Corbicula fluminea and Dreissena polymorpha can displace native Unionid mussels. A lot has been published on this topic. In Lake Maggiore the density of native mussels dropped by over 80 % after invasion by Corbicula and Sinanodonta in 2010 (Dreissena was established since the 1990's). However, the decline of native mussels (density ) was not uniquely determined by direct competition. Invaders may have triggered the decline, but environmental factors (e.g. drought), diseases (parasites), and increased predation (by muskrat, crayfish, birds) played a role. Difficult to disentangle the relative impact of multiple interrelated factors.

I have another, circumstantial case involving snails again. On Madeira, the endemic land snail Caseolus bowditchianus became extinct at (within the limits of radiocarbon dating) at the time the introduced Theba pisana, a similar-sized introduced snail appears in the fossil record, i.e. around 1420-1500 CE, when the Portuguese first colonised the island. I don't have a pdf of the relevant paper but it is in the bibliography of this paper attached: goodfriend et al. Of course, there were habitat changes too, so the case is not certain.

There are also many studies relating to the invasion of Aedes albopictus (mosquitoes) and their displacement of other competing mosquito species in their shared larval habitats.  Information pertaining to this species capacity for displacing both previously established invasives as well as native species has been circulating since the 1970s, I believe.
