Subject: Particle physics (theory). I am looking for a way to transform v spinors into u spinors in a decay amplitude's expression. Does anyone have an idea? Thank you very much!
This is essentialy a charge conjugation transformation. For the "standard" representation of γ-matrices, the relation is v = γ2 u*. For more details google "charge conjugation of Dirac spinors". This should f.i. lead you to https://quantummechanics.ucsd.edu/ph130a/130_notes/node504.html
Changing the signs of E and p̅ will transform a four spinor of particles (u-spinor) of non-zero masses to a four spinor of corresponding antiparticles (v-spinor). Essentially because anti-particles of energy E is the same as a particle of energy -E which is propagating backwards in time; and charge conjugation operation is just particle-antiparticle conjugation.
