For this complex, unfortunately the only method, as I've found up to now, has been introduced in an article by Zeller and et al.

During the suggested procedure by adding chlorobenzene to Ni(PPh3)4, we should take yellow precipitate. Unfortunately this complex is very unstable.
I have synthesized it around 17 times, but at the end I have many different colors.
It is noteworthy to say that I follow the procedure under inert gas.

I've made it in a drybox in one step from Ni(COD)2, PPh3 and PhCl. It was yellow all of the times I made it (maybe 3 or 4 times). That is one way to avoid isolating Ni(PPh3)4.
The napthyl analog is air- and water stable. It can be made from NiCl2/PPh3/reducing agent/NapCl. I haven't made it myself, but one of my former coworkers did. It can also be purchased from Aldrich.
The synthesis route given by Anne is good enough, although I'd use iodobenzene instead of chlorobenzene (due to the facile oxidative addition) and then the ion exchange with chloride. The isomerization cis Ni(PPh3)2 to trans complexes are probably fast enough (as an equilibrium in most solvents). I believe you can also synthesize the title compound from trans Ni(PPh3)2Cl2 by first diarylation of chloro-groups and then removing one of the Ph by adding one equiv. HCl. Here is another article, which describes the use of title compound with additional references for the synthesis. Success!

dear Hamidreza based on the air/water sensitive material, all the process have been done in glove box. initially we thought that the degree of our accuracy was not enough so that repeated it precisely. for the next step after every reaction, we put off the procedure to complete the reaction produced mediate product. no beam of hope. we changed some of our ingredient like Ph-Cl, toluene, Zink, PPh3 even Hexane. again nothing. tried some adjustment like immediate filtration of Ni(PPh3)4 after first step. in order to remove the unnecessary material which was remained by the suggested procedure. for removing DMF we tried different methods as well.
unfortunately we do not have enough grant for NMR test here. that's why I asked here about replacement for this test here in researchgate.
Dear Dr. Toth & Dr. LaPointe thank you so very much for your help. preparing different material like Ni(Cl)2(PPh3)2 or Ni(COD)2 needs time and financial support. I'm suppose to find a method to produce fore-mentioned complex with NiCl2. but the papers which are introduced by you are admittedly useful to me.
