The methods and techniques which I am looking for should be applicable on an industrial scale (not in the laboratory) in order to recover the following elements/chemical compounds from the ore: Nb, Ta, Sn, W, Mo, Bi, Li, Be, REE, U, Th, Sc, phosphate.

I have been following your many contributions with great interest and admiration at your patience to many of the questions. Regarding YOUR question, yes there are some textbooks around on the general, accepted methods of separation some but not all of the minerals listed. Often these don't go into sufficient detail to make them useful. Furthermore, once published in a book they are soon out of date because of the rapid advances in this industrial science. If you really want to know about up-to-date separation procedures you need to "infiltrate" a recently commissioned operating plant (and/or associated research development centre) and get to know the industrial engineer, process engineer, or similar staff, but then many of the new techniques are highly confidential. Buy shares in companies producing or developing certain specialized commodities, go to AGM's, get to know the relevant staff members and promote your wide expertise to assist them with their problems.

I believe that true and is reality today as recommendation by Dr Hans caused in real mineral player and industries there was private and confidential of any advance and sophisticated method processing especially for their business rival and competitors. But any way i have looked some text book special to "The elements occurrence and technology" by Boguslawa Jezowska Trzerbiatowska, Stanislaw Kopacz and Teofil Milusski (1989).

Your question is seemingly simple, but in fact, the answer is not in textbooks or reports,, due to that each ore material could be treated by different flow-sheets,, this needs a technological feasibility study,, physical and chemical separation methods could be arranged and then,, monitoring the efficiency in a senior pilot plant,, this is just to save time,, with my best regards,,

"Handbook of Extractive Metallurgy (Vol. I-IV)" edited by Fathi Habashi is one of the most comprehensive book addressing the industrial processes for the extraction of metals. The metals of interest can be found in that book.

I would like to submit that books are not as useless as most seem to think. True, they cannot illuminate the present state of unpublished innovation in industry. Most recent published advance can be found in journals such as

Where books excel in is the systematic description of the principles of ore dressing and metallurgy that is the essence of understanding. It will be of little advantage to know that the addition of a certain dose of a new chemical improves the recovery at mine XY, if your own case is not identical.
So do study the books plus published papers, and all information you may gather from reserves and resources reports!
