I am estimating effects of parental self-control on adolescent delinquency using cross-sectional data. I need to explore the possibility that adolescent delinquency may influence parental self-control, and am attempting to identify whether there are any existing studies that find meaningful influences of adolescent behavior on parental self-control and/or parental personality traits. I am aware of the 'child-effects' literature - that child behavior can influence parenting practices and parental warmth/attachment, but wonder whether this line of research has extended to child effects on parental personality/traits.
