Bela Buck, from Germany, has published a lot on that.

Yes Bela Buck has been investigating the stability of various aquaculture structures in the wave channel, as well as in the German bight (constructions for mussels, macroalgae and fish).

Also Arne Fredheim of the  SINTEF department of aquaculture technology (Norway) has been doing lots of research with regard to that topic! (http://www.sintef.no/en/employeepublications/?empId=1171)
