There is an very good paper about twinnings in turtles and you have information about twinnings in reptiles in the introduction:
Piovano, S., Kaska, Y., Prazzi, E., Nannarelli, S., & Giacoma, C. (2011). Low incidence of twinning in the loggerhead sea turtle. Folia Zool, 60, 159-166.
Langford, M. 1985. Husbandry and captive breeding of the sand lizard (L. agilis) as an adjunct to habitat management in the conservation of the species in Britain. British Herpetological Society Bulletin, No. 13: 28-36.
contain potentially useful information:
"25 eggs produced normal hatchlings and, strangely, two eggs produced twins (i.e. two hatchlings from a single egg. These twins were ca. 2/3 of normal hatchling size. They emerged from apparently normal sized eggs."
