Pollen source affect fruits set and have many effects on fruits characters of pollinated flowers .this phenomena observed in many cross pollinated species(especialy hand pollinated species).So i want someone to provide me with research paper interested in the most effective cultivars in pome and stone fruits and cultivars responed positively in this pollen source cultivars.

The effect of pollen donor on fruit and seed characteristics (Xenia) are known phenomenon to occur in several fruit species like Pistachio El-Kosary and Shaban, (2004), apple Kumar et al., (2005) almond Ortega et al., (2006), and pear by Zisovich et al., (2005), Xenia is defined as the effect of pollen genotype on the development, and characteristics of the fruit, it can affect pericarp, endosperm, and embryo weight, also seed and fruit shape, color, chemical composition and maturity time. the term Metaxenia was used previously to describe the direct effect of pollen grains on fruit tissues but later Denney (1992) mentioned that "Xenia including Metaxenia". Moreover, such phenomena may have agronomic importance for fruit production. However, the occurrence of this phenomenon differed between species. These results are confirmed by these obtained by Franklin-Tong and Franklin (2003), Hegazi and Hegazi (2005), Taslimpour, M. R., and Aslmoshtaghi, E. (2013) on olive trees, Ortega et al., (2006) on pear trees.
