This is certainly going to be a strange question. Brace for impact.
I performed very superficial searches on a couple of article databases (including researchgate.net). All I have found was one article discussing the impact of hybrids on biodiversity.
It just seems strange to me that with the discovery of polar bear-brown bear hybrids ("grolar bears") that there should be at least one researcher out there interested in the topic of big cat hybrids and how hybridization affects their anatomy.
Are there any papers examining the anatomy of ligers?
