The dual number as a linguistic phenomenon is clearly reflected in the Arabic language, because the inflectional structure of the Arabic language allows it to be formed in names, verbs. Are there any new research papers about the dual number in the English language, and how it was formed in the old English language? I want to write a comparative study in these two languages – Arabic and English to prove the ways by which the dual number is formed.
