Statement:
This question might be interesting/relevant to those who carry out laboratory based experiments quite often especially on periodical chemical behavior or timewise tissue behavior studies.
Condition explanation:
As a part of one of the experiments, I have to take down digital notes from my experimental observation into my PC for few behavioral changes from the brain cancer tissues each 5-10 minutes. For example at 10.10 AM, I add a specific material A and I observe a change happening in the tissue at 10.15 AM. In this case, I have to take down what was added (or what was done at 10.10 AM) and what was observed at 10.15 AM. This observation is visual and once I observe something I must start recording the information in my PC either as a text (most preferred)/ Voice based input. The time stated above is a regular continuous quantity and the observation can happen at any time.
Need:
A software is needed which can show once the observed behavior is noted down, it must also show the time in hr:min:ss when the particular observation was entered. So in a very simple way, I need 2 column running continuously, where the 1st column should give the time and the 2 column for the input entry from me.
Solution Function:
At last, the software must be able to provide the time information and observation occurred at each instant during the experimentation process.
Somehow I could find BORIS Event logger (http://www.boris.unito.it/) does similar functionality as I was looking for. However, it couldn't satisfy me on recording the continuous time frame in real-time where only trigger based event minutes were recorded. In this case, I need to further perform time analysis to conclude the event duration.
