Are there any distinct differences between -inter and intramolecular energy transfer in reference to excited states?
Additionally, if for example twisted intramolecular charge transfer (TICT) can be used to achieve luminescent molecules, why the energy transfer between luminophores usually leads (even if it is highly efficient) to aggregation caused quenching (ACQ)?

Nonradiative energy transfer between a donor and an acceptor can occur via two mechanisms namely Dexter and Forster. For Dexter type transfer to occur, overlap of wavefunctions is essential and the distance between the donor and the acceptor must be less than 10 Angstroms. Energy transfer via Forster mechanism occurs when the distance between the donor and the acceptor lies in the range of 10 - 100 angstroms.
Intramolecular energy transfer is very fast whereas intermolecular energy transfer is relatively slow.
Intermolecular energy transfer can only occur when the donor and the acceptor approach each other within the Forster radius during the lifetime of the donor, which does not always happen.

The efficiency of energy redistribution between molecules depends strongly on the concentration of molecules (for example, in a crystal). While inside molecular processes (redistribution of excitation energy between atoms of a given molecule) do not depend on concentration.
In the case of intramolecular ET you have more or less fixed ratios of chromophors and distances and angles between them . This is much more diverse in the case of intermolecular ET.
Aggregated systems have different electronic properties and could not directly compared with monomers.
