Generally, BCC metals show a Ductile-Brittle Transition phenomenon as decreasing temperature.

A main cause is that the temperature dependency of yield strength is large, thus the yield strength exceeds the fracture strength. It is general case.

Are there any BCC metals that showing no DBTT phenomenon, even at cryogenic temperature (-196 oC) ?

How about the SUS 304 or 316L that shows gamma to alpha prime martensitic transformation?

Thanks in advance.
