Publishing in various society journals over others that these journals are funded journals by Govt. so the you need not pay for the publications. These are refereed journals hence more authentic & rapid publications.
One of the primary advantages of publishing in a society journal is that it is routinely circulated among the membership. This increases the possibility that some will notice your article and cite it in the future.
Appreciations to you dear Peter sir for the answer. I got the point that society journals have more visibility due to their regular and wider circulation.
For good API score in future, the Journal should be UGC recommended as well as NAAS rated more than four. But, I am also agree with Sunil kumar Verma's answer if you publish research in society's journals, it will help to increase your citations.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts but the question is not confined to only Agriculture and allied subjects (NAAS); or Indian scenario (UGC) rather in a global perspective.
Thanks Hanuman Singh Jatav sir for your view. I am getting all your points except the "easy to publish" one. Can you throw some light on which context you are saying that?
